Billy the Kid is fast becoming one of the San Francisco Peninsula's most popular rock and roll bands, playing regularly to enthusiastic audiences at a variety of local venues. The band's dedication to its craft and its sense of professionalism is evident at every performance, and audiences of all ages appreciate the band's choice of material from classic rock favorites to today's top hits, as well as a list of original tunes.

Past events that have featured the band include: the Santa Clara County Fair, the San Mateo County Fair, San Mateo's Festa Italiana, San Jose's Music in the Other Park, Oracle's Save the Music Festival, Fremont's Kids and Kites Festival, San Jose Rocks! Hall of Fame induction ceremony, many Bay Area school and church sponsored events, as well as appearances on local TV including Comcast's Showcase with Mick Flaire and Mid-Peninsula TV's Bruce Latimer Show, and appearances on KFOX 98.5's Morning Show with Greg Kihn.
